If people with disabilities voted at the same rate as people without disabilities, there would have been 3 million additional votes cast in 2012. And as Justin Dart, father of the
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), said “Vote as if your life depended on it, because it does.”
To help make the disability vote more influential, Spokane Public Library in partnership with several local organizations* are hosting voter registration events around Spokane during National Disability Voter Registration Week July 17-21.
