Amalia Fisch is a visual artist living is Spokane. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she studied drawing and painting under the direction of Clelia Speroni, a renowned artist and teacher. Amalia moved to Seattle in the late 80’s where she attended Cornish College of the Arts and the University of Washington, graduating with a B.F.A. in printmaking.

Fisch has taught various printmaking techniques and has shown her work in Seattle, Kirkland, Portland, Buenos Aires and Spokane, most recently at the Jundt Art Museum as part of their landscape show. She currently works primarily in watercolor and oils. She will be exhibiting in group shows at the MAC and the Chase Gallery this fall.
